Rainbow Pre-School



1) How can I contact the Pre-School?

The easiest and quickest way to contact us during our opening hours is by telephone, calling 07794 149995. Alternatively, please send an email to and we will reply as soon as we can.


2) Do I need to contact the Pre-School if my child is not attending due to illness or for holiday?

Yes, please call us in advance with holidays and before 10am on the first day of absense for sickness. We will thereby keep the record of absense up to date.


3) Do I need to pay if my child is not attending?

All holidays and sickness need to be paid for. Please notify us of holidays in advance if possible.


4) How long does my child need to be absent from the Pre-School if ill?

If your child has suffered from sickness or an upset stomach, please ensure that they are kept at home for a minimum of 48 hours after the last occurance. For other illnesses and if you are unsure, please feel free to contact us for advice.


5) What happens if I am late or unable to collect my child?

Please inform us as soon as possible if you are going to be late picking up your child. If for whatever reason you are unable to collect your child, please telephone to advise us of your alternative arrangements, so we are aware.


6) What do I need to bring?

All children are required to attend with a spare change of clothes.

If you child is in nappies, please provide spare nappies and baby wipes.

During the summer, each child needs a named sun hat & should arrive with an application of suncream.

During the winter, please ensure your child has a warm jacket and wellington boots (as we will still use the outdoor area in the cooler months).

A packed lunch, in a named lunchbox, will be required for those staying until 2:30pm.


7) Who do I need to contact if I have any concerns?

If you have any concerns relating to your child or the Pre-School, please feel free to talk to any member of staff or talk to your child's key worker who will be able to advise you further. Alternatively, the manager is available most days to speak to in person, or can be contacted via email.
